Description: JABSOM Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Cores are going to organize a workshop on “DNA-seq Data Mutation Analysis” on February 15th, 9 AM to 12 PM at JASBOM MEB, Computer Lab 107D. The primary objective of the workshop is to understand and get hands-on skill in identifying mutations and variations in genomes. The workshop will cover some basic Linux command line, raw sequence data & quality control, quality filtering & trimming, indexing reference genome, read aligning and variant detection and annotation.

Please contact bioinf@hawaii.edu or vedbar@hawaii.edu to register as the JABSOM computer lab can hold 30 participants only. Please see the flyer for more information.
