Abstracts for the UH Manoa School of Nursing & Dental Hygiene - Health Sciences Interdisciplinary Poster Festival are now being accepted!

Health Science colleagues from UH Manoa Nursing, The UH College of Health Sciences, Tripler Army Medical Center and The Queen’s Medical Center are collaborating for this event.

We welcome abstracts for both research and evidence based practice projects completed by practicing clinicians in the service sector, nursing & other health science faculty and students, as well as colleagues from other units whose work is relevant to the field of health.

Poster presenters will be able to explain and converse with members of the public who come to view the posters.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DETAILS

  • Abstract due date is: Thursday, March 15, 20018 at 5 P.M.
  • Submit abstracts (or inquiries) to: kqureshi@hawaii.edu
  • Submission sections must include:
  1. Contact information of submitter: name, agency or school/department, email and phone number
  2. Title of abstract
  3. 250 word description that contains the following:

a. purpose/aim
b. rationale/background
c. approach-methods/processes used
d. outcomes (if available)
e. conclusions
f. implications/recommendations

All accepted posters can be portrait or landscape orientation, but no larger than size A0 (33“ X 46”).

Light pupus will be served during the event.
