Description: For microarray data analysis, there will be a two-day workshop. The workshop will focus on the following topics:

  • Preprocessing high-density oligonucleotide arrays and two-color spotted arrays
  • Quality assessment of Affymetrix genechip data and two-color spotted arrays probe-level data
  • Statistical analysis of differential gene expression studies
  • Cluster analysis of genomic data

Each topic includes both short course and computer lab. The free software R and Bioconductor will be used for the short course and the lab.

NOTE: If you provide your own laptop, R and Bioconductor will need to be installed.
