NewsOla Hawaii - 2017 Pilot Projects Program - Call for Letters of Intent04 October 2017We are pleased to announce that we have an additional opportunity for investigators to apply for pilot projects. Ola HAWAII (Health And Wellness Achieved by Impacting Inequalities) was just awarded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities/NIH. Ola HAWAII will be responsible to grow and support a community of health disparities scholars to determine the causes of and interventions for health disparities in the Pacific. To achieve this goal, Ola HAWAII will provide short-term pilot funding to support collaborative research projects conducted by faculty of the University of Hawaii System. New and early-stage investigators, and under-represented minorities and individuals with disabilities, are encouraged to apply.
