NewsProposal Development Workshop14 February 2019Hawaii EPSCoR and the Manoa Office of the Vice-Chancellor of Research will be hosting a Proposal Writing Workshop on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 2:30pm-4:00pm. This workshop is targeted to all graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty who are interested in learning more about identifying funding opportunities and writing competitive research proposals. All workshop participants must register. Date: Thursday, February 14, 2019 The session will be webcast via BlueJeans. A total of 500 “seats” will be available. You will receive the BlueJeans meeting code after successfully registering. This may take 1-3 business days. There are a limited number of seats for people wishing to attend the workshop in-person in Kuykendall 201. To attend, you must indicate that you would like to attend in person on the registration form. Please note that even if you do indicate that you wish to attend in person, a seat is not guaranteed and is contingent upon availability. Dr. Kelvin Chu, Vice President at The Implementation Group (TIG) will lead the workshop. Dr. Chu was a Program Officer at the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the Existing Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR). He joined TIG in 2014. Between April 2016 and April 2018 TIG has helped UH researchers win over $34.7M in federal awards. |
